Install Bounties
Requirements
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Server | Paper or Folia 26.1 or newer |
| Java | Java 25 |
| Vault + economy plugin | Required. Bounties are paid and collected with your server’s money (EssentialsX, CMI, ...). |
| Internet on first start | Bounties downloads its database libraries (HikariCP, SQLite and MySQL drivers) once through the server’s library loader. |
| PlaceholderAPI | Optional. Enables the bounty placeholders and placeholders inside messages. |
Single server
- Install Vault and an economy plugin if the server doesn’t have them yet.
- Place
Bounties-1.0.0.jarin thepluginsfolder. - Start the server once so the default files are created, then stop it.
- Paste your license key into
license-keyinplugins/Bounties/config.yml. - Start the server. The console shows License verified with the product and version.
- Run
/bounty add <player> 1000and confirm, then open/bounty.
No economy found
If the console says No Vault economy found, players can’t place or claim bounties. Install Vault together with an economy plugin and restart.
Several servers
Set type: mysql under storage: on every server and point them at the same database. Bounties placed on one server can then be seen and claimed on all of them. Each server loads the list again every sync-seconds: 30 under storage: (30 by default), and the refresh button in the menu loads it right away. Storage changes need a full restart.
