| "Bounties are not available right now" | No economy was found. Install Vault and an economy plugin, then restart. The console warns about this at startup. |
| A kill didn’t pay the bounty | The killer needs bounties.claim. Deaths without a player killer never pay. Check allow-self-claim and block-same-ip-claim. |
| "Player has never joined this server" | Bounties can only be placed on players who have joined before. Check the spelling of the name. |
| Bounties from another server don’t show up | Use type: mysql under storage: with the same database on every server. The list updates every sync-seconds, or right away with the refresh button. |
| "Server slot limit reached" after reinstalling | The plugin folder (and .installation-v2.key) was deleted, so the server counts as new. Ask support to free the old slot. |
| License validation failed | Check the key, outbound internet access, and that you run the latest Bounties JAR. The console shows the reason. |
| Libraries fail to download | The first start needs internet to download HikariCP and the database drivers. Allow outbound access and restart. |
| Changes don’t show up | Run /bounty reload. Storage changes need a full restart. |
| A message is missing | It may be empty ("") or missing from config.yml. Copy it back from the default config. |
